The Craiova Medical Students Society conducted an essential sexual education and prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) activity in Dolj County as part of the “Services from Norway for Romanian Youth – Pilot” project. Within the scope of this project, which covered multiple counties in the country, Dolj was no exception, and the results were impressive. Over 10000 condoms were distributed, and more than 3000 young individuals from both urban and rural areas received vital information about sexual health.
The primary objective of this initiative was to promote sexual health and prevent STIs. The young participants benefited from informative sessions that addressed crucial topics such as STI prevention and proper condom use. The distribution of over 10000 condoms emphasized the importance of responsible sexual behavior.
These efforts not only contributed to increased awareness and responsibility among young people in Dolj but also highlighted the need for a proactive approach to sexual health. Education and information had a significant impact on the community, promoting a healthy and responsible lifestyle.
